  • A Perfect Fit

As the day draws towards an end my hands work swiftly, methodically, gently ripping out the neat and uniform stitches sown by a stranger who believed they were creating a perfect fit.  One size does not fit all.  Lessons learned during growing up years now bear fruit for the blessing of those closest to me.  It’s a labor of love to tailor the cloth to fit the unique, one of a kind man that I share my life with so that it will be the perfect fit.  Appreciation expressed makes the effort all worthwhile.  We are a perfect fit.

I ponder the work of the Master Tailor.  His gift of love is not a few alterations to the not so perfectly fitting garment in which I clothe my soul, but a brand new, immeasurably beautiful, sparkling white robe of righteousness.

With deep appreciation Lord for this love gift – thank you that my life can be beautiful in your eyes.

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness.  Isaiah 61:10
