• All Blessing

  Christ was crucified for fallen humanity....
  He was crucified for me,
  for all the times that I am
  selfish, frustrated and in pain,
  choosing my own ways and foolish wisdom
  over His perfect wisdom & ways.

  Why do we live as if this event is nothing,
  and choose to deny the cross of Christ
  and run from self-denial and self-sacrifice?

  Our sufficiency will never be found in self,
  but in the presence of the Holy Spirit,
  whose gracious influence fills our hearts
  and enables us to bring every thought
  into subjection to our Savior.

  He empowers us to  deny self and
  choose His ways instead of our own.
  He gives us the victory.
  Empowers us to serve.
  Giving us love, joy & peace.

  He was crucified for me,
  in reality it is no sacrifice
  to deny self, rather
  it's all blessing!

  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
