Empowered
His transforming grace
teaches me to listen
and empowers me
to surrender
to choose a better way.His transforming grace
empowers me
to be silent instead of speaking,
to pray instead of pleading,
to trust instead of being tearful,
to sing instead of sulking,
thoughtful instead of thoughtless,
to forgive and forget. His transforming grace
empowers me
to run to Him for strength when I am weak,
to be thankful rather than complaining,
to speak only what is true & good,
to seek the best rather than settling for mediocrity,
to live by faith rather than fear. His transforming grace
empowers me
to see with new eyes, His eyes,
to treat others better than they deserve,
to love the unlovable because He loves,
by beholding Him I am changed.James 4:6
But He giveth more grace.
Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace unto the humble.

Beautiful!! True!!! Encouraging!!! It seemed like I was reading right out of the Psalms! His grace upon me is hard to understand and describe, but you have portrayed a very clear picture my friend....thank you.
I was reminded of this verse as I read......His grace truly empowers us.
"And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." II Cor. 12:9
Bless you for sharing this! I needed these reminders and the encouragement of this truth today. Oh the wonders of His grace!
Excellent!!!
