  • It’s early and we walk hand in hand, contemplative and prayerful as the new day begins.  Bare branches are silhouetted against the blue-gray as we trample over the last few fallen leaves of winter. The aging, rain-soaked pavement glistens in the lamplight.  The potholes are now peaceful puddles, motionless and silent, reflecting the quiet and the glory of the morning after the rain-storms of the last twenty-four hours.

It is my desire that the potholes in my life today be filled with Him and that they will become peaceful puddles, where self is motionless and silent, and that all that is seen will be a reflection of Him.

  • Beautiful post....oh, to have self be "motionless and silent" and to be a constant "reflection of Him".

Some days the potholes seem so numerous,  but this is such a precious way to transform them! thanks!

  • You always have such good posts about what the Lord is doing with you.

  • RYC: Thanks..I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension last year and have been through a gamet of tests and seen enough doctors to last me a lifetime. ..excuse the pun. We are just waiting for confirmation or not concerning the original diagnosis.
