The Greatest Gift
Once again my heart is filled with deep gratitude and love for Jesus Christ - He is the greatest and best gift - nothing can compare with what He has given me. He is my reason for living, my reason for hope, my reason for love, my reason for joy, and He is my peace.I love Him because He is a Wonderful Counselor, a Mighty God, an Everlasting Father and truly the Prince of Peace to me - I could not live my life without Him.
How many times I have heard the words of "Joy to the World" and how many times I have sung them, but this year they came alive to me in a new way...
Ponder them...feel them...appreciate them....be moved by them...be changed by them...
Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King.
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing.
Joy to the earth, the Saviour reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
and makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
and wonders of His love.Merry Christmas dear friends,
May you be blessed with a special sense
of His presence with you this Christmas.
