Whatever state
My life is in His Hands
His is in control
of all that touches me.

For I know

I am exactly where
He has put me
Doing the work
He has given me.Content

Though I may not like
All that I am given

All He calls me to
He enables me to do
and the outcome
is not dependent on me
but on Him
as I cooperate
with Him.

For He has promised
to supply all my needs.
He has 1000 ways
His grace is sufficient.Content

He has carried me
And never failed me
I can trust Him

Prince of Peace

So beautiful~ And often it's a daily discipline to put on contentment and quiet our hearts in whatever state we find ourselves. John Bunyan put contentment into perspective with this thought: "If we have not quiet in our minds, outward comfort will do no more for us than a glass slipper on a gouty foot." I like how you chose to get closer up to each flower as you progressed with your words about BEING CONTENT - just as we should grow closer to God in order TO BE CONTENT!!!
He is in control of all that touches me. I long to keep this at the forefront of my mind. Nothing that touches us the Master is not aware of, He knows the outcome and He keeps as through it all and it all works out for good. Content whatever state. Thanks for the reminder.

right now I am very content...but I am on vacation...that might have something to do with it.....I really need to learn this big time. I am one who looks to the future to be content with.....I need to be content with what I have and where I am right now....
